Yukyeong Lee was born in Ulsan, South Korea in 1983. She studied Interior and Spatial Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London where she recieved her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the 3D Department at Cranbrook Academy of Art. In 2012, her work was shown at the Heller Gallery in New York as part of a group exhibition organized by AmDC titled Raw + Unfiltered; as part of the Cranbrook Academy of Art degree show, OPEN; and at ICFF 2012 with Herman Miller under the theme Rest and Concentration in the Workplace. Most recently her work was featured at ICFF 2013 as part of Hands-On: Conceptual Craft Research with the Cranbrook Academy of Art 3D Department.
